Grundig YB400 SSB Receiver for Weather Fax

I have a Grundig YB400 SSB receiver. Coverage includes long wave (144 - 353 kHz), AM band to 1710 kHz and shortwave from 1711 to 30000 kHz. With a good antenna, do you know if this radio would be able to receive the weather fax transmissions? The idea would be to output the signal from the receiver to a Mac laptop that has software for decoding the weather fax signal and displaying the maps.

yes it works fine,i have yb400pe,though you will need to run every thing on batteries ,as an inverter for your computer power supply and dc supply/240v for radio will create too much interferance.
use meteoscan software.
