I'm looking to put together a group buy of the STANDARD HX850S VHF HAND HELD DSC WITH GPS. We're talking separate shipping and maybe getting 10% or 20% off.
I found it at this place for $198.99. And their shipping was inexpensive too.

I'm interested but only if I can get it for less that $180 plus shipping. I've found local suppliers that will sell for 208$ retail. I also saw a few when they first came out on e-bay where they sold for $189. so I'm thinking the mark up is astronomical. These are probably about 40% less in bulk.

I've never been there. That opens up lots of possibilities for our sailing community. If you are a member, do you want to set it up. (Otherwise I'll need to research it a bit.)
