GPS for Icom-M802 & Standard Horizon GX2000

I'm looking for a GPS for Icom-M802 & Standard Horizon GX2000.

Will these both work with a simple NMEA GPS outputing RS-232? (I know NMEA is normally RS-422...)

Also wondering if RS-485 would work (from my navigation PC (Raspberry Pi)?

thanks!
