Gps ? BU-353-w10 versus the S4

New member here and first want to thank everybody for such a great product and all the work thats went into this! Id just like to confirm that the BU 353 w10 is the best choice for me on a surface pro 4 running windows 10 and is it worth double the cost of the s4? Thank you.

Also I have been using with a pillot plug and therefore get all data from sat compass and ais receiver....is there a way to get ROT indicator?

This is used a back-up system and is excellent.

Thanks again...
