Good marine cell signal amp?

We've had good luck using a small Wilson mobile hotspot amplifier for cell signals when we're in our little trailer in the Rockies. Now I'm looking to add an amplifier to the boat as well. When I first looked at the Wilson amps about four years ago it seemed to me that there were only a few choices. I just took another look and that market has grown.

Do you know of any good rugged or marinized cell phone amps that are better suited for living in the marine environment?

Wilson hands down... However don't buy it from the US as the FCC just limited the power. You can still get full power units in Canada and other countries... Mount the antenna on the top of the spar and use LMR400..

Re: Good marine cell signal amp?

good info thanks. How does one know if one is getting the "full power" version? Is that an output spec? Know any Canadian suppliers?
