Garmin G2 Chartplotters Advice

I'm looking at the Garmin line of G2 plotters (421S in particular), and would be interested in finding out if anybody has experience with these new proprietary cards they use...3D underwater topography, Google Earth overlays, etc etc...

Good, bad, gimmick, what?

When in tight spaces, fisheye view is GREAT !!
Try going through a rock strewn passage using that and it's a real confidence builder.
Of course, make sure the GPS offset is good before you try kissing a reef.
I use mine (5208) a lot in the San Juan Islands.
