Garmin chart plotter mixing up feet and miles

Running a Garmin 942xs with the latest software update (x.30). When I zero out the days odometer readings (in INFO/Trips & Graphs/Trip), the display box reads my current depth.

I sent a note to Garmin about it and surprisingly, I got a response (“Never heard of that.”). So I sent him a picture. Surprisingly, I haven’t heard back.

I suspect their V&V on software updates needs work, considering when I bumped up to version .15, I lost depth completely and saw they came out with an updated update a month later, which fixed that little joke.

In the grand scheme of things it’s not a huge issue, since once we move, it gives distances, but sheesh...
