Garmin 7410 and Victron Solar controlers

We have a Garmin 7410 with SmartCrusing and Battery Monitor. We just finished the solar installation and try to have the Garmin SmartCruising to receive the info from the Victron BMV 712 and 3 Victron MPPT 100/30.

Garmin does not give support on this connection.
Anybody know how to link those Garmin 7410 and Victon BMV 712 to have the solar summed and displayed on the SmartCruising display.

If you know who knows this will be good.

Has someone told you that the 7410 can do this?

You would need the VE.Direct to NMEA2000 adapter from Victron, connect that into your NMEA bus, and assuming the Garmin supports the data coming from the Victron adapter it could be displayed.

Alternatively, if you use a Victron CCGX you would connect every Victron item to that first, then use the VE.Bus to NMEA2000 adapter to connect the CCGX to the bus...

Can’t the CCGX connect directly to N2K? I’m just taking up on this and trying to figure out Victron’s product line that resembles vomit rather than sushi.

Well, you need a cable. And the connector is different. The CCGX VE.Can port is an RJ45. So you could probably make your own cable, or juset buy the Victron one.. https://nocache.victronenergy.com/ac...0-micro-c-male
