Looking through the manual, I am not finding any reference to any sort of Radar capability at all.

I have a 2010 and don't recall seeing anything about radar interface in the book. I really like the plotter, it's easy to see, the cartography seems better than C-map, and it's super easy to use compared to the Sitex unit that I have on another boat. I was impressed enough to buy a 3210 for the other helm station.

How does the 3210 compare to the 2010 in terms of the display screen? I can read about the features, but I can't see one until I buy it. Thanks.

I don't have it hooked up yet so I can't comment. Should have it going in a couple of weeks and I'll let you know.

The 2006/20010 (B&W or C) can be upgraded to accept depth but they do not accept radar inputs (according to Garmin).

Just click on my posted thumbnail, then once again (to enlarge).
As I recall, the original source didn't provide any additional information.

Only

Only the 3200 series will accept the radomes... I have the GMR 18-HD and really like it but Garmin's instructions for radar operation are NON-EXISTENT!! I guess they assume everyone already knows radar lingo and what the settings mean..?? Luckily for me I do..

The HD domes really perform nicely!

Gord, humm I am not sure that is what I was looking for, I was wonding if you could overlay or split screen the Radar function into displaying on the 2010. I think that thread is about getting the GPS information to the Furuno... I am going to have to do more digging.

As HyLyte advised, the 2010 doesn't accept a Radar INput.
It has an NMEA OUTput, which should interface /w RADARs.
