Fusion Stereos

Has anyone installed a Fusion brand stereo receiver in their boats? I am interested in a new sound system. I am thinking of their least expensive model RA 200, I think, with an iPod in dash attachment.

I installed an MS-CD600 with a separate iPod dock and a wired remote. Love the multiple zones. Install was straightforward despite all those wires. My only gripe is that the when playing the iPod, it always does "repeat all". I don't see any way to control it. We often don't notice its time to pick new music until the third time through an album.

I installed on with the iPod dock on my ski boat. I really like it. There is one software bug where it freezes up occasionally. I put a toggle switch in the 12v unswitched side which reboots the software. I also installed an amp for it..sounds fantastic. I also bought the Sirius module for it...its nice to not be limited to whats on the iPod.

I installed an RA-200 in our 27 foot sailboat. Great system, nicely built, nice price point. Got the kit that came with the dock and two speakers. Two zone control, easy install in one evening, excellent iPod integration, can plug in a Sirius receiver, handles AM/FM/VHF reception. I posted some info in the reviews forum. We've really enjoyed it this summer, at the dock and at sea. Ended up splurging on the wired remote too. Trouble-free.

David, Fusion does have a software updates for their radios, they are programmed by using a special version of the remote control. Fusion US sends this to a dealer local to you as and when requested, the process only takes a few minutes to complete.......

I installed the MS-IP600G and have been very happy with it. When our Freedom 20 charger was on, the previous Pioneer unit would pick up the dirty power on the 12v buss and put a hum on the speakers. Not with the Fusion, it handles it with aplomb. The interface is intuitive too.
