Furuno FI 30 Wind Transducer Replacement?

Hello,

I am in the process of picking up a Mahe 36 and I already know that the wind transducer is shot. As the factory part is hard to come by, does anyone know of a suitable replacement?

Cheers,

Scott

I'd be interested in a conventional replacement for an old Autohelm too. Important that it use the same cable in the mast.....

Yes, CV7 masthead used only 4 wires. So no problem.
In Fact, CV7 wind sensor is NMEA0183. We had "option" box for compatibility with B&G, Autohelm, Raymarine (etc..) equipment
What is your range of Autohelm display?

You can use old cable in the mast.

Re: Furuno FI 30 Wind Transducer Replacement?

I found that the transducer that I have is the Garmin Gwind. Not sure if that is original equipment but I was happy to find a direct replacement.
