Favor to ask of SH GX2000 VHF owners...

If you have a Standard Horizon GX2000 radio, can you please check the version that it displays when you power it on and post it? I am trying to figure out if a radio I am working on has new or old firmware..

Thanks!

I don’t have that model, but from http://www.standardhorizon.com/index...3&isArchived=0, under the Files tab, it looks like 3.00 is current.

Yeah, I was already there.. As far as I can tell that version number (3.00) is for the programming software itself, which is what that download gives you, not for the radio.

The radio I am working with shows v.5.0 on powerup.

It's not working the way it's supposed to (as far as NMEA Input/output) and I'm wondering if there is a newer firmware out there.
