Electronics Installation Help in Houston Needed

I am changing out a chart plotter and radar and adding ais to my boat in Kemah. Due to time restraints and lack of knowledge I am looking for installation assistance to install and integrate the new Garmin with the other Raymarine (st60 and autopolot, vhf) that I have on board. Any one have recommendations on experts with good knowledge of these systems to help me out here in Texas. Thanks Ed

I can help you out very inexpensively. I've done several of exactly that type of integration before both for myself and for several of my friends, as well as in the Amateur Radio community with GPS/radio integration.

If you'd rather pay someone a lot of money to do it, I've heard the folks at Y.E.S. are pretty good.

I'm a degreed Electrical Engineer, an Amateur Radio operator (Extra class), and a fellow sailor, but I am not a "licensed, bonded, or insured" installer, so, caveat emptor.

I'd be available (time permitting) also between my own projects.
I've also done quite a few of these (in a previous life several years ago I worked for the BlueWater in the service dept. while supporting my education habit)

I'm in the Clear Lake / Kemah area myself.

Hey, I want in on this action! I have a battery charger in need of installation

IMHO I think Mockingbird is the best, they are also crazy expensive, but you wont have to worry about their installation, connections, etc., the guy is a perfectionist.

You've got mail, but I'll be pretty busy this particular weekend so if I don't get back to you in an extremely timely manner, that's why. I'll be back on a normal schedule Monday.
