Does WAAS and DGPS work outside the US?

Hi,
I have a Northstar 6000 and it has three antennas (two look like normal GPS antennas and one is a fiberglass rod type antenna). I am assuming one is GPS, one is WAAS, and one is DGPS?
I'm am in Central America and headed for the S. Pacific. Do WAAS and DGPS work outside the US? If not, I am thinking about removing the unnecessary antennas. Thanks!

There's no WAAS or DGPS in the South Pacific ... and you should also know that nearly all of the charts in plotters, and on paper, for the South Pacific are out in longitude and some in latitude

I was amazed last season at the number of boats that hit reefs, islands even, cos they weren't where the skippers plotter said they were.

The plotter charts are based on the paper charts and some of those, notably Tonga, go back to 1867 !

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNSS_augmentation gives an idea of how small the area covered is
