Depth Sounder

Looking for a stand alone depth sounder. Transducer and display only. Not looking for it to be connected to chart-plotter or any other device. Can a Raymarine P7 transducer work with a i40 display without any other electronics?

i have a fishfinder plus my gps for depth.each in a different part of boat...gps bow, fishfinder astern
