Cruisair turbo sound shield

I see there is a sound shield for the Cruisair Turbo range. Has anyone's installed one or heard the difference they make?

The Turbo is a very quiet unit even without the sound shield. We have an 8k BTU unit installed under a vberth, and have no issue sleeping in that berth with it running. I also think you can add the shield later? Been very happy with mine. 2008 installation.

We have 2 x 16k in our new 40' cat and both have some issues at the moment. We waiting on a new board for the 1, but the other is sounding sad and noisy. Only been on once for an hour so though. They being attended to this week and hopefully nice and quiet, but curious about the shields just in case.
