Cobra VHF HH330 Problem

Hello,

I have a Cobra VHF HH330 floating radio.

I think the battery might be dead. When I press the PPT button and speak a manage to say a few words and then it cuts out. It does not turn off though. I and press the PTT button again and say a few words and then it cuts out again.

Anyone know what the issue is?

How can I test if its the batter without ordering a new battery (which costs 60 EUR and three weeks waiting time)?
