C-maps and raymarine

Has anyone had trouble with c-map and raymarine compatibility? My c-map chip froze my hybrid eSeries chart plotter on my last sail to Dominica. When I take it out all worked fine but the standard lighthouse charts that come with the system are not usable for navigation, or intended too. I just purchased lighthouse charts for the Caribbean and they work fine.
Called c-map and they suggest to send the chip to them to see if it is corrupted. They are helpful and I will send it in.
