Brookhouse iMux-ST - Credit where credit's due...

Disclosures: I have no affiliation other than being a satisfied customer!

Good news comes only occasionally it seems.

I have just installed a iMux-ST from Brookhouse so as to interlink my existing hardware being:
1. Sea Talk (original) ST60 TriData, ST60 Wind, and ST6001 Autopilot and respective duplicate heads at the flybridge
2. NASA Marine AIS Engine 2
3. Furuno GP32 GPS
4. Furuno 1623 Radar
5. RS232 to Laptop running Fugawai Marine 5 (Navionics Charts)
6. Uniden UM425VHF DSC
7. WiFi to iPad running iNavX

Firstly, to one with only rudimentary electronic skills, the installation was very simply.
The documentation provided both with the device in paper and also online via their website was excellent and instructive.
Additionally, I had need to e-mail them three times for some specific help with the NASA Marine AIS which would not "connect". I received repllies either within the same day (hours) or next day. I could not fault the "help".
(The NASA Marine issue was caused by insufficient voltage output which was easily "recitifed" by the placement of a 4K Ohm resistor bridge between the 12V in and the AIS terminal which boosted the signal (10c cents it cost).

So it all works perfectly. I can run the AP from the ST6001 head, its slave, from the GPS, from the Fugawai or the iNavX. Iv'e got AIS signals on both display platforms.
Pretty proud actually, but in reality its all down to a good product with excellent documentation and great after sales service.

I hope others have had or will have an equally good experience.

Yes I have installed Brookhouse on every one of boats. I am very happy with the results.
