Beneteau instrument panel fault

We have a Beneteau Oceanis 46 which has a small LCD instrument screen showing battery, fuel and water levels. This screen is now displaying a triangle with number 1, probably indicating an electrical fault. However the Beneteau manual does not list codes for electrical faults. Can anyone help us to identify the fault, and recommend a replacement if the screen and its circuit board are faulty? We would appreciate any advice and assistance.

Careening Bay, did you ever find out about the fault? I have it on my Beneteau 50 & can't find anything on it. Thanks in advance

Re: Beneteau instrument panel fault

I did not receive any help or replies from anyone including Beneteau and two of their Australian agents. Eventually I simply pulled the wire connector from the back of the panel, counted to ten and reconnected it. This apparently 'rebooted' the VDO system and it is now working fine. Apparently poor electrical connection caused by corrosion.
Beneteau owners must be self sufficient in Australia!

Re: Beneteau instrument panel fault

I get this error too, as well as a triangle+"2".

I have concluded it is a low (or high) voltage on the battery that is displayed at the time - "main", "engine" , etc.

If you press the volts button, and cycle through the batteries, it will acknowledge the alarm.

Best thing I did was install a decent battery monitor and ignore the beneteau monitor.

Sorry I can't help further.

Re: Beneteau instrument panel fault

On another forum someone sent me this document. The number is only the number of alarms, they don't designate what the alarm is for.
