B & G Upgrade

I have a B & G autopilot instrument system, it works fine but I have never been that happy with the autopilot. The system is 12 years old B & G have suggested upgrading to the H3000 display and pilot processor. Has anyone had experience with this upgrade and if they are happy with the pilots performance. biggest problem with the existing system is that it continually makes minute adjustments that it does not need to and there is no deadband adjustment in the software. Solution B & G offer is the upgrade and its not for free.
