B&G Triton display problem

I have a new Triton display that appears to have some kind of interference or display problem.

The background and display colors are constantly changing as you can see in the video. It is not a reflection that you are seeing it is the display.
It does this almost all the time but some times worse than others. The display has been installed for about 6 months and it has done this for most of that time and it doesn't matter if the engine is running or not, it will still do the same thing with everything on the boat shut off.

Any thoughts?

Send it back to Navico for a replacement, since it is still under warranty.

So you believe it IS a display problem and not some kind of connection issue?
You really cant get a simpler install so I don't think I did anything wrong in that regard. I just don't have much experience with network issues......yet.

Re: B&G Triton display problem

If it powers up and stays powered up, then it is not a power connection problem. I can't think of any network connection issue or network problem that would make it change colors or effect the display itself. Funky or intermittent data, yes - but not the quality of the display.

Re: B&G Triton display problem

Like Mark, B&G tech thinks it is an LCD problem also.
Sending it in for repair.......just as soon as I can get back to the boat and get it.

Re: B&G Triton display problem

The unit was replaced with a new one.
It took a couple weeks, but the new one is here.
Kudos to Navico, no hassle return.
