Autohelm 3000 remote control

Hello.
I'm happy to be a new participant in the Cruisers Forum.
I'm looking for the remote control unit for an analog Autohelm 3000. It is not SeaTalk enabled and Raymarine hasn't given me any ideas.

If they are not available new, you can make one your self. I made one 15 years ago when funds were very tight. If I remember there are just some resisters and 4 switches in the unit. I got all of them from Radio Shack, including a plastic box for them. I can't remember where I got the plug from.
We use it all the time when cruising.

It was a surprise to me, but the Manual for Autohelm 3000 indicates it can be controlled by radio navigation device through a standard NMEA 0183 plug in attachment.
So save your planned course on your nav equipment and Auto3000 is supposed to follow the nav equipment all the way home.

I have not tried this yet since I just read the old manual, throughly for the first time.

Perhaps it will help in some way.
