I didn't have enough room for a below deck
pilot, so I had no choice but to get a wheel
pilot. Best upgrade I have done.
My cpt was onboard when I bought the boat ten years ago. I packed it up and shipped it to cpt to be checked out and reconditioned, thinking I would keep it as a backup while I installed a "real" ap, belowdecks. Jeff charged me $150. Ten years later I still havent installed a belowdecks pilot. That cpt performs so well I dont even think about changing it.
