AP 24

The center "up down left right" control button on my Simrad AP 24 is starting to act intermittently. Sometimes I have to press a couple of times to get the desired result and sometimes it gives me other than what I asked for.
Do anyone out there have experience with repairing these "up down left right buttons"?

Where are you situated? If in the US, "Steve" at Jaytron Electronics in Bradenton, Florida, has be pretty successful at reviving the touch keys on AP 11 and 24 control heads.
