Re: Anyone else having trouble with time/date display on Simrad MFDs?

I asked SIMRAD if the latest update (8 JAN) for the NSS series would be affected by the upcoming GPS week number roll over - their answer:

No the 2019 Spring GPS rollover will not effect the new software and GPS in the NSS12.

Re: Anyone else having trouble with time/date display on Simrad MFDs?

I tried the Simrad update on my B&G Zeuss MFD, it would not complete the auto reboot step. Nothing was changed, same wrong system time and date. Anyone know if B&G use same software?

Try downloading again and using a different micro sd card if you can. It may just be a corrupted file causing the problem.

Good idea, I did not have an empty sd card so I put that file into empty space on a card that already had charts on it, to transfer it to internal memory of chartplotter, then ran it from there. When I can get a new unused sd card I will try again,

ReefMagnet, I have a Zeus Touch 8
I went to the B&G website and downloaded
Zeus_Touch-2.0-46.1.139-28533-r2-Standard-2.upd
It did not work for me.
I now get no date and no fix on gps.
Did you use this same file or another one?

I can't recall TBH, but it was whatever one was in the list of fixes for the Touch. If there are different versions, I always grab the highest numbered one.

With the GPS rollover, the touch GPS is broken again and needs another yet to be released update. This is possibly your problem if you've tried updating post 6th April rollover. You need to register for this new update and can do so on the B&G website.
