Looks similar to a Sat-radio antenna.

That is an external antenna for a garmin handheld gps of the 76 variety.

I would say it's a GPS antenna for a computer. The Gilsson used a globe symbol, but not that one. Could be from Japan. Their web sites are near impossible to access.

Yep, definitely a GPS antenna. That's the old Garmin logo on it.
