All new electronics

Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking for a while and I can't decide on a which new electronics system to purchase.

I'm going to replace all the electronics on a 37' O'Day used for coastal cruising in the northeast. I would like to mount the system at the helm.

What should be my primary considerations for a system that will work well together, be dependable and not outrageously expensive.

Auto Pilot
Radar
Chart Plotter / Sonar
Wind Instruments
Radios
What am I missing?

I think I need a 10-12" screen and I would prefer a touchscreen.

I have separate depth and knot meter that I'm considering eliminating but would like some feedback on whether I should replace those also, or just eliminate them.

Thanks,
Kevin
