Re: AIS tracking by sat?

Thanks all for the information. Sounds like Sat AIS tracking is not ready for prime time yet. That's what I thought, but wanted to check to see if anyone had any different info here. I was looking into it because the Bermuda race committee was interested in possibly using such a system, if it was available, as the boats will be required to have AIS transceivers next race.
