That's ironic. I just realized who started this thread, although I cannot read it. Oh well.

Sheesh, Phil, surely you know that you are much better off talking to yourself than to many of the posters here!

GF read me a funny relevant joke today: "Of course I talk to myself, sometimes I need expert advice".
....surely she wasn't thinking of me! :-P

Re: Your Ignore List
Instead of "ignore", I think a more creative selection of emoticons could be put to good use. For example, I often find myself wishing for one with male genitalia for a head.

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and if they were part of the normal emoticons they would be approved for use and there would be less chance of getting a PM from the mods when you write what you really think (well kind of because and never write what I really think and sometimes still get the PM)

Re: Your Ignore List
Is there some advantage to the forum "ignore" function, over the onboard user ignore feature? There are posts or threads I don't read, and perhaps users I pay less attention to, but it never occurred to me to filter them out with the forum settings.
What happened to the guy that was a prolific poster with a Tayana, and bungled his way south? I ignored much of what he said, but tried to help him out when he was headed south. Can't remember his handle..... that's the onboard filter I guess. Really, he was absurdly funny at times, cheap entertainment.

You know that definition of stress? When the mind over rides the bodies urge to choke the **** out of someone that desperately deserves it.
The ignore button removes that stress.
