Why ?

I was just wondering why do so many people view threads but do not respond? Why do people not show their faces on here?

I like knowing who I am talking to and also believe that people should know who I am. I was just sitting here wondering why...

You are entitled to feel that way but there may be others who see value in not revealing a lot about themselves on the Internet. Different strokes for different folks.

there are folks online who have had the dubious pleasure of having had malevolent factors in their lives haunt them to near death and do not wish to reveal faces online. i see no reason to magically reveal and encourage these said malefactors to do more damage.
i am female, and my avatar says a lot about my spirit and presence. even so, many think i am male..LOL...go figger.
is dangerous to make too much of a presence online with your face and address and alladat----stalking happens. is not a pleasant experience to have been there and had it happen.

zeehag, you have pix posted in your album, so how does any of what you just said make sense? It's a picture. Nobody can do anything with it except Photoshop it. Who cares? And she didn't ask for anyone's address. I would have pix posted here, but the system won't let me upload any. How are you going to be stalked online, anyway?

Some people are just voyers in life, other of us have too much to say and it gets us in trouble at times yet we cant not be involved, Being an ostrich is for ostriches, I cannot stand not being involved in discussion and have to make my point.

There are some who bully and that puts others off participating. Look down and street, office, etc and all life is there, just as it is here.
