Water sensor leaking

My Hunter 430 has developed a leak from the primary water gauge sender.
It’s an EMA-SYSTEM Water Sensor, I cant make out all of the label but it looks like a 96-1 Magne.
It is leaking from the top flange and it looks like this can just lift off, but before I go using brute strength and ignorance - I thought I would ask you guys if I am correct. Does it just lift off or does it unscrew?
I have searched this forum and on-line but to no avail...

Re: Water sensor leaking

I've not seen the exact model but others similar just lift off after undoing the securing screws on the perimeter. There may be a gasket or sealant underneath that will need careful breaking.

It looks like a screw has been replaced in the past so some might be difficult to remove - good luck!

Re: Water sensor leaking

I can certainly unscrew the whole thing buy it only appears to be leaking from the top circular flange - not the screwed flange..
