Re: Shipmate propane gas stove

The items used by Shipmate were mfg’d by Robertshaw, but have been discontinued. However I had the oven control rebuilt at a nominal fee by some company in Fort Worth. A few years ago- can’t recall their name, but a google session will likely locate them.
My particular search is for burner grates. 45 years in a marine environment with grates is about all you’ll get. I am inclined to think that they were a shelf item, and probably somebody has them- but who?
Shipmate was built by Richmond Ring, who were sheetmetal fabricators. The passive parts- top, dishes, rails, box, door are all pretty much what they did. Knobs, thermostat, burners, etc were Robertshaw or ???
Ours has reliably cooked lots of meals for us. Professional (almost food-service) construction in a compact package.
