Sailing Festival Videos Show Spectacle of Boats

Summer is Sailing Season!

And with the season comes a boatload of sailing festivals.

I saw this video which shows a boating festival on the Gulf of Morbihan in Brittany France.

This English name (Gulf of Morbihan) is taken from the French version: le golf du Morbihan. It is more accurately called 'the Morbihan' when one looks at the local name.

As the video shows, boating is popular, with countless boats on the water and thousands of spectators on the shore. I am always amazed to see such festivals because of the many different types of boats shown.

What a wonderful sight! What a spectacle!

I would love to see this festival (and others) someday from the deck of a boat.
