Sail insignia half circle, what is it?

I saw some large sailboats in Boston harbor with a half circle sail insignia, like a "D" on its back. What is it?

Soling is an omega.

I did not find the symbol in the above listing.

I may have a faulty memory but there are a number of J-22s in Boston Harbor and I recall that they have have a red semi-circle on the main....... but a blue semicircle does not strike a chord

The Soling logo is a blue Omega, which is basically a blue arc "with shoes". Similar but not what the OP is looking for.
