Opening External Bowthruster Exturn

I installed a bow thruster Exturn EX95S (now SidePower, then Marinno) back in 2013. It has been functioning without a hitch till last week. This is the most powerfull 24V model. Now the engine does not turn anymore, even without the screw. I bypassed the control bow - iBox - containing the current inversion/switching logic and directly connected to 24V. No move whatsoever. On 1 occasion I got maybe 1 or 2 turns very slowly against a lot of friction.
Question: Has anybody opened one of these thrusters or do you have assembly drawings?

Did you ever get an answer to this problem. I find Exturn information, even user reviews are few and far between, I tried finding user reviews for the Exturn EX 35 and found something like four user reviews. I have installed one on my boat.
