Onboard stove-oven fuel

It's time for a new stove and oven in my Hunter Cherubini 33. Most new ones are fueled by propane (I have all the safety elements such as an isolated tank well, and a solenoid shut off. )
Old timers tell me that white gas is best for safety but performance rating show a much lower heating capacity.
You comments are very welcome!

Just go with a good mari.e propane stove.
WHITE GAS STOVE ON A BOAT. BIG NO NO
I would assume people are actually thinking of non pressureized alcohol.
Personally I would keep propane .

Re: Onboard stove-oven fuel

Other than CNG, which we had for a while, we have had propane since 1983, 34 years. No problems. Happy campers!
