Old member back for a while

Hello y'all:

I was active for many years on this forum when I owned and cruised sailboats, but stayed away when I went over to the dark side for several years. Now I am boatless and may get a sailboat, power boat or stay boatless. But I do want to contribute to the cruising community.

I am pretty competent in all things boating, having owned some eight cruising boats (in succession, not simultaneously) over the years. I did almost all of my own maintenance and am a pretty competent boatwright, general mechanic and marine electrician although I have never made a living at it.

So here I am. You may be seeing me posting from time to time.
