Re: Nice article on Charley Morgan

Great article on Charley Morgan. Had the great pleasure of flying with the Coast Guard and seeing the Heritage under sail, during the America's Cup trials and eliminations off Rhode Island.... Unfortunately, the Heritage did not make it. Then in 2002 I started looking a boat and found a Beautiful (in my eyes) a 1973 Morgan 36 OI, Ketch in North Carolina and took her to St. Pete, FL. before bringing her to Blaine, WA. It was while in the old Morgan yard I had the PLEASURE of attending the Morgan Gathering and Honor and Pleasure of meeting Charley Morgan there. I am sure that he would be Happy to hear that the boat that bares his name is still going strong sailing the San Juan Islands of Washington State, as the Pacific Dream, though she will soon be heading south to warmer climates. Hope I get to meet him again.....
