New Boat Owner?

Hello,

I have sailed a bit, but mostly catamarans and still have a lot to learn. I am looking at a Clipper Marine 30' for cuising the bay/harbor in San Diego. I plan on making the purchase in a week or 2. If anyone has some time I would love to get your feedback and thoughts before finalizing the purchase! I also need help sourcing a "rudder stock head" so that I can properly attach the tiller.

Any new boater would be making a big mistake buying an old boat without having it surveyed before closing. Others may want to explain why but it should be obvious.

Re: New Boat Owner?

Step 1. Get a boat survey done by a professional.

I couldn't agree more.

I suppose I am looking more to talk to other Clipper Marine owners who would be interested in trading pics, stories and information particular to Clipper Marine 30' or 32'.
