Hi there! I am looking to gain some sailing experience. Where would be the best place to starting looking for vessels looking for crew?

I am currently living in the Caribbean so would like to start there.

Hi Teena,

Caribbean narrows it down a bit but that's still a pretty big area. Would you be able to travel to Guatemala or the Virgin Islands or to Cartagena to sail?

If you could be more specific about what kind of crewing you want to do and any experience or knowledge about boats you may already have.

For example, are you looking for a boat sailing a long distance, say Caribbean to the US or to Europe, or wanting to crewing in local races or day sails? If you are looking for a long distance trip what is your citizenship, do you have a passport and the proper visas for the countries you would visit?
