Re: Looking for Boatyard for a DIY refit this winter

Call Tim Concannon at 1.772.882.2441 He and his brother started Riverside Marina in Ft. Pierce, Fl. over thirty years ago and are still in business. I used to haul Skyliner, my 1934 Atkin designed sloop built by Matthews( the only sailboat they ever built) there thirty years ao. It's a jam packed DIY yard of the old school due to $50 per hr. rates and they leave you as alone as you wish to do your own work or Tim and Sheila have competent people to handle any job. Ft. Pierce has everything a boater needs. I have my '65 Alberg 35 there now. Call him and he will give you honest answers to your questions. Good luck, whatever you choose to do. Google Earth to look at Ft. Pierce Inlet. They are just north of the North (opening) Bridge on the ICW.
