Long-Term Parking for Gulf Island Cruise ?

I'm planning to cruise the gulf islands on my Mac 26s this summer. I'll be needing a parking space for my trailer and truck for 2 to 3 weeks, near a boat launch. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced lot or marina? Reasonable being under $100. Thank you

This could be British Columbia, Mississippi, Florida or more places that are identified as the "Gulf Islands". 'best to define the location.

Re: Long-Term Parking for Gulf Island Cruise ?

Assuming you mean BC:
Marina Park Marina rents parking dependant on space. I don't think they have a launch though.
Marina Park Marina

2060 White Birch Road, Sidney, BC V8L 2R2 (250) 656-0454

Van Isle also in Sidney has a launch and parking. They charge for the launch and probably the parking too.
Van Isle Marina Co Ltd

2320 Harbour Road, Sidney, BC V8L 2P6 (250) 656-1138

There is a pay launch at Sidney itself but I can't say what there'd be for parking. Van Isle is close to Marina Park.

Goldstream Boathouse has a launch so there might be some parking there. It's tight so I would guess they would charge for it.
250.478.4407
3540 Trans Canada Hwy.
Victoria, B.C. V9B 6H6

Be forewarned, Goldstream is at the bottom of a pretty steep hill and access is driving North up the Malahat only so a u-turned may be involved and some good pulling power etc. It's a great spot though at the end of Saanich Inlet.

Re: Long-Term Parking for Gulf Island Cruise ?

thank for such quick responses. I am asking about the british columbia gulf islands and from the mainland side. I'd be happy to go into the states too as I suspect parking in vancouver would be expensive.
thank you

Look for a long stretch of sandy beach at low tide and just back 'er in. Leave your truck and trailer right there and head out. When you return in 3 weeks, look for the antenna sticking out of the water to locate your transportation. Seriously, try the White Rock area... there are launch facilities there and should be weekly parking at reasonable rates close by... cheers, Capt Phil

We have friends who are sailing in the area now and who left their trailer and tow vehicle somewhere in Anacortes. I can try to find out where.

There is parking for vehicles and trailers right beside the public boat launch at the Burrard Civic marina, I know you can get weekly parking, but not sure about multi week parking.
