Lacoste 36 (or 42)

We've just completed the purchase of a Lacoste 36 based in Southampton, UK and are keen to find any other Lacoste owners out there, as there doesn't seem to be too many of us!
As far as we can work out there were around 20x 42's made and 14x 36's, would be interesting to see how many are still around...?
So if you own one, know someone who owns/had owned one, or even if you've just seen one somewhere, I'd love to hear about it!

Re: Lacoste 36 (or 42)

I bought a Lacoste 42 early this year. Her name was Alligator and was brought from the US to Europe in 1995. Her new name is Mary. My version has a swallow keel and a centerboard. When the centerboard is up de draft is 1,50. Down the draft is 2,80 m.

Hi Woody, great to hear from you! That's really interesting, I didn't know the 42's had a lifting keel option. Whereabouts in Europe are you based? We're in the UK, just trying to get an idea of where they have all ended up...

Re: Lacoste 36 (or 42)

I live in Amersfoort in The Netherlands and the boat is in Almere, at the Blocq van Kuffeler. (https://www.google.nl/maps/place/WSV...74!4d5.2209429)

I cannot find much information about the Lacosts. I'm trying to find an sailplan for my Lacoste 42 or a users manual. Do you've got a user manual for the Lacoste 36?

We don't I'm afraid - there is just no info about them anywhere. Will certainly let you know if I find anything!

Lacoste 42 Keel Bolt Torque

Does anyone know the keel bolt Torque Specs for the Lacoste 42, or similar boat configuration?
