Re: Jeanneau 40 2000 sun odyssey

our DS49 is currently in Brisbane, we have sailed her there from Seattle. Due to physical problems with the Captain, we must ship her home. She will ship by the end of the week to Vancouver BC with Gods blessings. She is a wonderful yacht and will serve our needs gong to and from Alaska for the next few years.
They are very hearty crafts and I feel save on her. She is quick and steady. I hope this helps.

Re: Jeanneau 40 2000 sun odyssey

hey thanks for your reply

hope it all goes well for you guone

must be interesting putting your boat on a ship .

one of the things I want to know about the Jeanneau 40 is how much differance dose the two keel types make when at anchor ? in other words is the deeper keel give a smoother nights sleep?

I'm looking at a 2000 mod for $100,000 privet sale . nice boat but a little bit let go . ( new engine)

are there any others out there for sale around that price ??

is there any jeanneau owners out there that need a crew for short term so I can feel first hand what they are like on the water

welcome aboard Sulsul

Here's a link to a bunch of sun odysseys, although they are all lying in europe

The Sun Odyssey range has a good reputation for being well-built (there are some on this forum that do not like production boats, no matter who builds them and there are some that do not like Jeanneau - many opinions, all of them valid from the person expressing them point of view).

I own a Jeanneau and find it ot be well-built. Off course there are some thing I wish had been done differently, but hte perfect boat ha not yet been built.
