Re: In memory of Imagin2frolic

Does anybody have a snail mail address for Mel? I've been hanging on to an i2f inspired shirt for her.

I think that is what she said.

I cannot look at my Outlook Express emails any more to check though.

Re: In memory of Imagin2frolic

Strong reminder why we should not put off what we will regret tomorrow. His last journey awaits us all. Sad reminder of how little time we have on this planet.

God Bless to Mel and all his friends.

Re: In memory of Imagin2frolic

February 10th marks three yeasr since we lost our friend and fellow sailor John, AKA Imagin2Frolic.

John’s sailing blog is Sailing with Cancer- One Man's race against time!

Where ever you are John,
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

With love and respect …CS

Re: In memory of Imagin2frolic

Continued R.I.P. I hope.

I never found out what is happening with his boat since "the German guy" bought it.

Re: In memory of Imagin2frolic

I happened to be in Kailua, Oahu, for each the two times that John and Mel were planning to set out for Hawaii from Panama. We talked about getting together for a beer when they arrived. I'm so sorry he never made it. He was one of the good guys on CF.

Think of John and Mel whenever I visit our Botanical Gardens. It is where Lennon got his inspiration to write Imagine and the Double Fantasy. R.I.P. brother.

It reminds me to appreciate the friends I have made here on CF
