Will do. Summer time is best I assume?

My boat is currently in Panama, not Belize, but the San Blas islands here are awefully nice. Summer is not the best time because its rainy seaon, Spring is ideal.

Re: In Kind Barter of Boat Time

I have a Redwing 30 on the north end of Georgian Bay, (Ontario), just south of the "North Channel" . Someone with a boat in the south want to spend some time in the best fresh water available this summer?

I think that concept is a great idea.

So...any fly fishing guides out there who would like to go sailing?

My first barter exchange, the one above, is about to come to fruition! My friend has an offer in on a Lagoon 38 in Martinique which just passed its survey. So, off to Martinique soon!

We're exchanging the above services at our actual cost.

Also talking with Cimarron about an exchange for some time in Alaska.

This idea has lots of potential I think!

Re: In Kind Barter of Boat Time

An excellent idea, indeed! Glad to hear the delivery- Nepal exchange is working out. Sounds like some good stories in the making. Enjoy! Expecting some heavy weather here this weekend, so will be hunkered down oiling the reels and restocking the tackle boxes...

In Martinique now! Tentatively doing a trek to Everest base camp in October.

So, Cimarron...would you like to escape the Alaskan winter in Guatemala?

Did you mean spring in Panama? Either way would be amazing - but I'm actually pretty fond of winter. Spring break up, on the other hand...

Ah, thought you might want to escape winter, but Spring is OK too. Either one, Guatemala or Panama, you pick.

Collected on my half of this barter in October 2018 from a friend who is a pro trekking/climbing guide....the trek thru the Himalayas was incredible...awe inspiring scenery everywhere you look...sprinkled with the great people and interesting culture of Nepal. Awesome trek!
