Hunter 336

Hi, this is my first post.
We are thinking about purchasing a 1995 Hunter 336 for coastal cruising, I am for input from other owners (past and present) regarding the boat, would this be a good boat for "lightly seasoned" sailers for cruising off the coast of BC? Any known weakness in the design etc.... or alternative boats
Thanks for your consideration

G

Re: Hunter 336

How lightly seasoned? If you're set to cruise I'd buy a boat off a cruiser that's already outfitted it and will take time to teach you all the systems they've upgraded already. If you're looking at base line boats you can spend the value of the boat in upgrades to make it suit your ever evolving needs. Might take a little while longer to find the right boat, but will save headaches overall.
