Hump Day

It's Wednesday so today is Hump Day.

When long term cruising is everyday Hump Day? Or when cruising there is never a Hump Day anymore?

Re: Hump Day

Well, as I see it, Hump day is half way between the start of a work week and it's end, with two days off to look forward to. Out sailing every day is a work day, so hump day is something of a landsman's strange notion.

Re: Hump Day

Around here they say "anything you can do while drinking beer is not work". Consequently sailing is not work and if you sail enough you will forget what day it is. But it is unlikely that you will forget to hump.

My 'Hump Day' usually happens mid-Atlantic...

Re: Hump Day

Not knowing what day it is, is exactly what I'm looking forward to.
And waking up not knowing what time it is

Re: Hump Day

The only time, I know what time or day or month it is, is when I am performing navigation, otherwise, it's all good!
