An a wee glesga woman goes intae a butcher shoap, and she sais tae the butcher, "See you jimmy, hav you goat a sheep's heid?"

A few years back I had a bonk or two with a Weegie lass. I have a working knowledge of Glaswegian and spent some time in Dennistoun. Lucky, spent no time in Barlinnie.

This is what I call the Richard Burton method. He swore by it, and was the first western white man to make the pilgrimage to Mecca, amongst other interesting places.. Musta worked for him!

Ah wuz out w' a few of ma cronies, one or two friends of my aine,
We went intae a hotel an we did very well an then we came out once again,
An then we went intae an otherrrrr an that is the reason Ah'm foo,
We had six doch an dorris's an sang as chorus, just listen I'll sing it for you.....
Oh, I belong tae Glasgow, dear old Glasgow toun,
But therrrrr's something the matter wi' Glesga for it's goin roun an roun,
Ah'm oanly a common old workin' chap as anyone here can see,
But when Ah'v had a couple o' drinks oan a Saturday, Glasgow belongs to meeeeee!

Oh, but I miss it still.
